PLISY UP, Diabla’s latest floor lamp Designed by Alejandra Gandia-Blasco

Comunicato Stampa disponibile solo in lingua originale.

PLISY, one of the most representative designs of Diabla’s lifestyle, reinvents itself by adding a new format and different uses to the series. As original and chic as its predecessor, PLISY UP stands as fixed lighting with the perfect height (117cm) to #light up tables and corners with its welcoming atmospheric light.

From atop of its textured, thermo-lacquered aluminum stand, PLISY UP gives off a warm #light via rechargeable LED technology and shows a charming aesthetic inspired by the traditional pleated fabric shades that we all have (or have had) at home since age-old times. Made from polyethylene, it unites the essence of indoor floor lamps with the character of garden lanterns, with the technology applied to maintain a range of 5 to 6 hours with a touch ignition sensor.

Due to its high-quality materials it appears resistant to weathering and, in turn, it fits perfectly into indoor spaces that require practical but also elegant and original #design pieces. A twist on everyday objects so deeply rooted into our daily lives, rendered in surprising materials.

PLISY, the original concept designed by Alejandra Gandía-Blasco, was born as a cute portable lamp to be carried through the use of its rope handle (customizable in 5 colours) as if it were a bag or to hang on its 150cm foot, swaying gently in the breeze. A fun and spontaneous #design for enjoying the best moments outdoors.

PLISY UP is the latest floor lamp by Diabla.
