Orme: Simone Bonanni solo show Pianca & Partners inaugurates the new "Di/Segno" format

The ORME exhibition of work by #simonebonanni opens on 18th May in the Pianca & Partners Milan Showroom. Free to visit until 30th July, the solo show is the first event of Di/Segno, the new exhibition format conceived by #pianca & Partners to showcase #design, creativity and the exchange between genres and art forms.

A celebration of "form as activator of emotions", the exhibition curated by architect Massimo De Conti will display the work of Bonanni via 10 large-scale illustrations, accompanied by objects, small prototypes and evocative texts.

Also on display will be the new collection by Bonanni for #pianca: the Domenica bed and Kyoto bedroom casegoods set, featuring sinuous forms and compact compositions.

Di/Segno is a regular event which will feature some of the designers who collaborate with the Pianca & Partners network. Each exhibition is designed as a small solo show, to help visitors discover the creative process that typifies the designer's work, seeking to demonstrate the evocative power and artistic study behind the overall #design style on show.

Drawings, sketches, thoughts, prototypes, illustrations and products will be displayed inside the #pianca & Partners #Showroom in the Brera #design district, in an exhibition path spread out among the furniture and complements.
