Gardeco launches new Domingos Tótora arrivals

Gardeco’s ever evolving collection of multidisciplinary art and #design objects will be complemented with a number of new designs by #domingostotora. The art publisher and renowned Brazilian designer have been collaborating for sixteen years and will intensify their relationship even further. Introducing Centro de Mesa, Vaso Escultura 03 – 04 and Vaso Organico 03 - 3A.

Domingos Tótora is a Brazilian designer from Maria da Fé in the state of Minas Gerais. The region is known for its rolling valleys, mountains and large areas of fertile lands. These marks in the landscape are reflected in Tótora’s Centro de Mesa, a new #design he developed exclusively for #Gardeco. Rows of earthy toned repurposed cardboard pulp are carefully lined up parallelly to each other, resulting in a breath-taking centrepiece plate. Centro de Mesa comes in two colours – Natural and Terra – and sizes – 40 cm and 58 cm.

In line with his philosophy to create art from and for nature, Domingos created the Vasos Escultura and Organico 03 and 3A. #Gardeco has carefully selected these three Vases as an extension of its 2022 Forms & Function collection. A smooth, matte surface and earthy tones as well as an organic shape characterize the designer's work and witness to his extensive experience in object #design. Vaso Escultura 03 and 04 will be offered in one size and darkbrown colour, Vaso Organico 03 and 3A in two sizes and colours – Natural and Terra.

All of these new designs by #domingostotora for #Gardeco will be on display at SuperSalone in Milan, September 5-10, 2021 and Maison&Objet in Paris, September 9 –13, 2021.
