Arper at Salone del Mobile 2023

Arper participates in the 61st edition of Salone del Mobile, held from 18-23 April in Milan. The new collections, Ralik by Ichiro Iwasaki, Semiton by Garcia Cumini, Roopa and Shaal by Doshi Levien and Aava 02 by Antti Kotilainen, will be presented in the 800-square-meter exhibition space in Pav. 4 (stand D06-C09).

For this occasion, Arper explores today's life and its complexities, proposing solutions that inspire beauty, energy, and vitality, and offering a new perspective that is summed up in the concept of Life Is

Beautiful.

Beauty is often misunderstood as superficial, about appearance, something secondary to today’s challenges. To us, however, it is exactly the opposite: a deep and rich quality that encompasses our hope for the future. Beauty is a thriving ecosystem, a moment relaxing with loved ones, the satisfying feeling of things falling into place, a world that can be passed down to the next generation.

It’s what motivates us to make spaces and solutions that serve the project of living. Beauty is more than aesthetic: it is versatile, generous, and enveloping. Beauty is living.

Arper's exhibition space at Salone del Mobile interprets Life Is Beautiful through a white, airy and ethereal textile backdrop, combined with chromatic elements (products on display, styling, photography, videos and graphics) that blend architecture and colors, giving the booth an energetic, vital and luminous look. The collections on display express the constant search for technical and production solutions that aim to reduce their environmental impact: disassemblable, recyclable, made with materials from certified sources and with minimal use of glues. The booth was designed by Studio MAIO in collaboration with partners Jeannette Altherr, Leandro Favaloro and dogtrot under the creative direction of global #design consultancy 2x4.

Roberto Monti, CEO of Arper, comments, "Arper has always put people and their needs at the center. Last year, we started working to increase this awareness even more, engaging in what we call 'the project of living': a dialogue open to changes, of the world and of people, at all stages of their lives. Through #interiordesign, we want to improve our ability to listen: it is not simply a matter of placing products into spaces, but of making people's experiences charged with meaning.

As an organization, we aim to become an example of responsible business, where sustainability permeates the company firstly in its culture, then in processes and products. At this year's Salone del Mobile, we want to bring this message. The booth is made mainly of fabrics and draperies, hence reducing the use of construction materials, and reuses last year's #design, where possible. Our collections are the result of the implementation of sustainable technologies and processes, continuously

improved over time."
